About Me
I’m a communications strategist and collaborator with artists, cultural institutions, and arts organizations across the country.
For more than 15 years, my work has spanned public relations, digital marketing, project management, and special events—always centered on helping organizations tell their stories with authenticity, while building the support systems they need to thrive.
Based in New York City and the Ohio Valley, I work with clients nationwide on communications strategy, consulting engagements, interim support, and special projects. My approach is grounded in clear storytelling, thoughtful leadership, and the kind of reliable follow-through that comes from years spent inside some of the country’s leading arts organizations.
My in-house leadership experience includes senior communications roles with Blue Note Hawaii and George Mason University’s College of Visual & Performing Arts, where I led public relations, promotions, media strategy, social media, and high-profile events. Earlier in my career, I held communications positions with the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap, and GALA Hispanic Theatre—experiences that shaped my understanding of how meaningful arts storytelling can deepen connection and sustain institutions.
I hold a master’s degree in Arts Administration from Boston University and have contributed to the work of organizations including Opera Boston, Project STEP, the New Philharmonia Orchestra, and the Newton Cultural Alliance.
I’m also a professional oboist, and that dual life as both artist and administrator continues to shape how I listen, communicate, and support creative work. It gives me an understanding of the artistic process alongside the organizational realities that help it succeed.
“When we found ourselves short-staffed at the same time we were launching a digital platform in response to COVID-19, Camille stepped in and saved the day!
She quickly implemented a social media strategy across four platforms, created engaging content, and grew our audience in a short time. Her strong, collaborative skills and industry knowledge allowed her to contribute robustly to a brand-new initiative and work beautifully with our team. Camille is a class act!"
